For over 30 years, Jim Pickard has been committed to the commercial real estate industry. Jim’s extensive background includes office and industrial brokerage, construction and facilities management, and sales support in the Akron/Cleveland markets.
In addition, he has provided design/build services for various clients and developed his own commercial portfolio. Jim’s most recent project was a 60,000 SF manufacturing facility for an international manufacturing company in the Akron Ascot Park Industrial Park located in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio.
Jim is very active in the local community. He currently serves on the Board of Akron Community Foundation, Summit Art Space and Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens Foundation Board. He has served as councilman for the Village of Silver Lake and is past Board Chairman for Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens. He is a past chairman of the AABOR commercial industrial committee and a graduate of Leadership Akron Class 11. He has served on the Board of Directors for United Disability Services, Community Support Services, GCEF Foundation and various advisory boards in the community. Jim holds a BA in Logistic/Operations Management from Michigan State University and an Associate degree in Accounting from Lansing Community College.
He and his wife, Leslie are residents of Silver Lake.
